PEF's mission: Inspiring and Rewarding student-centered Innovation in public education.
The Public Education Foundation believes high quality public education is fundamental to the economic, cultural and civic health of our society. We believe that all students deserve the best possible public education in order to realize their full potential. We meet this challenge by funding meaningful projects and programs for students, engaging the community in support of public education, and rewarding student-centered innovation in public schools.
Since 1985 the Public Education Foundation has awarded more than $7.5 million to fund more than 2,500 projects, programs and scholarships for over 330,000 students and teachers in Evansville's public schools.
